STS-2.5

The World standard broadband-seismometer other seismometers are compared to, with very low noise, high clipping level, low power, and wide operational temperature range without adjustment.

A low temperature version (down to -55°C) is available on request.

Features

  • Performance equally to STS-2
  • Improved insensitivity to barometric pressure variation by a factor of 10 compared to STS-2
  • Serial interface for control and maintenance
  • Auxiliary signals switchable between mass-position and UVW-raw
  • Low power, less than 450 mW
